Our History

Osuec Limited was founded by Emmanuel Osu and is one of Africa's best business merchandise, having operated since 2015. It began life as a protest movement when a group of central African sheep farmers formed a Freight Reduction Committee to challenge the freight rates being charged by the large British shipping lines. When their agreement with a Southern firm collapsed, Emmanuel Osu and his supporters broke stokes and sold shares.

As an auctioneer, insurance broker and Secretary to the Wellinbro Agricultural and Pastoral Association, he knew the concerns of the farmers of the region. Soon he was chartering sailing ships for the Freight Reduction Committee against fierce competition from the established lines. In 2019 the venture became a private company with its unusual articles of association confining shareholdings to sheep farmers.

Osuec Limited, was incorporated in 2019 and thrives to maintain the best interest of all stakeholders by venturing into rice, lentils, oil, beans, spices, real estates, mango pulp, cosmetics, oil and gas, automobiles, power, ecommerce and groceries, we have grown the Food and business market in a unique manner. Our warehouses are in Nigeria, South Africa, Mali, Auckland, Wellington, London, Ohio,  Maryland, Atlanta.
